It had a spectacular clock movement.
The hands of clock moved around,
The second-hand struck with a sound,
The clock was made of beech wood,
The instructions told the owner should
Wind up the clock after frequent use,
Otherwise the clock would lose
Time and would also soon stop:
It would not work nonstop.
