The cart was often filled with hay,
It travelled along the farmland way,
The wheels turned slowly along the road,
The countryside road could take the load,
Horses would pull the cart along,
They seemed to be very fit and strong.
The farmland was scattered with every crop,
Waiting for that occasional raindrop.
