Poem 72: The Fighter Plane.

By Vijay Simhadri.

Bomber 16

The fighter plane would search for other planes,

It would do this as a mission as it trains,

The mission was simply to search and destroy,

Neighbouring planes and ship convoy,

Thrusting forward through the air,

With spirit, energy and extraordinary flair.

The red-orange night skies were dark and gloomy,

Flying over the green seas so expanse and roomy.
