Poem 67: The Obscured Wristwatch. By Vijay Simhadri.

The brass wristwatch in the moonlight shone, No dial and numerals were seen in the morn, The golden brass wristwatch rested over water, Its shadow could be seen over the river, Crimson red clouds were observable in the night, Surrounding the moon so cloudy yet bright. The wristwatch had links that covered like a band, They were gold and rolled around the wrist of a hand, The wristwatch had no time to tell, For those who bought it, it would do no well.

Preface: The poem is called 'The Obscured Wristwatch' because the brass wristwatch has no dial or numerals on the face of watch. This is indeed very unusual for a watch.
