Poem 64: Sunflowers

By Vijay Simhadri.

The sunflowers were arranged in a linear way,

Crowded and cuddled around on this heated day,

The sunflowers sprightly, oscillated near a tree,

Crops and plants were growing nearby,

They were surrounded by the shoreline sea.

In the winter weather the sunflowers did die,

They were replenished in summer by the sun,

As this was time for them to bloom with fun.
