In the waters stood the bronze altar,
It was a place for priests to conjure
Magic and scrolls is what they read,
Verses and hymns is what they said,
The bronze altar was a place of sacrifice,
Anything placating would suffice,
The place was used for ritual offering,
It was where the priest did hymns sing,
Incense burned to his offering
That he did eventually bring.
