There was a wonderful lamp near the wall,
That had been taken from the house's hall,
Its colorful lampshade did so gleam,
From its dainty past did it so deem,
It had been dusted the day before,
It had taken time for the owner to restore,
The lamp reminded one if its past,
Beautiful ideas about it came very fast,
For the lovely colors of the lamp did fascinate,
With its bright multi-colored glass so ornate.
