Poem 45: The Helicopter

By Vijay Simhadri.

The helicopter hovered in the air,

It was dodging around without care,

The clouds floated right in front,

As it rushed along being very fervent.

The land below was flat and green,

It weaved past hills and in between,

It was a helicopter of the military type,

People that observed it were full of hype,

As its blades turned round and round,

Making a remarkable buzzing sound,

Wherever it was apparently found,

It cast a dark shadow upon the ground.
