In the outer space there was an asteroid,
To a spaceship it was something to avoid,
For asteroids rotated in a circular belt,
As this was the region where they dwelt,
The moon was observable there beyond,
The spacecraft needed to quickly respond
As it would collide with asteroids,
That were rocks shaped like spheroids.
The stars flickered in the universe,
In the expanse of space so diverse.
