Poem 24 - Metal on the Ocean Seabed. By Vijay Simhadri
Metal pieces on the seabed lay,
Away from the ropes so very fray,
In the waters of deep, marine blue,
Shone a glimpse of light right through,
The diver noticed metal parts of a ship,
As he did float and dip,
Deep into the chasm of the ocean,
Away from the radiant land of the Sun,
Rocks were jagged on the floor,
The visibility around seemed very poor.
This poem reminds
me of the ship
Titanic whose remains
were found on the
ocean seabed.
