Picture and Poem are
created by Vijay Simhadri.
Yellow sunset skies filled so fair,
For the observer one could just merely stare,
At the great and amazing wonder,
That lay below the atmosphere and under
Was the grassy wooded valley,
So prized to view and see,
The green velvet-like landscapes,
Had taken some rugged shapes,
To cover the mountains and hills found,
All over Mother Earth and far around.
Now dried, a river once used to flow,
Over which past boats used to row.
Cattle in the valley happily grazed,
Where various crops were also raised.
