Butterfly 5

Poem 102: Wings of a Butterfly.

By Vijay Simhadri.

The colorful wings of butterfly,

Were like feathers of a peacock,

Its greenish-blue did defy,

Those that did walk,

Who to their expert eye,

As it fluttered and did fly,

Evasively in the sky,

The path to the river was set,

Yet the butterfly it never met.
